Chlaena

This little piece of art reminds me of an octopus's tentacle. The name Chlaena refers to the hapalochlaena lunulata or the blue ringed octopus, one of the smallest and most poisonous animals on earth. It is about the size of a golfball and the blue rings are only visible when it is about to attack...I thought this was so interesting, I had to name a piece after it!
